
Rockdale Rugby is a social club established in 1955, fielding minis, senior men and senior women teams. We cater to all ages and all levels of skill, so whether your new to our wonderful game, or want to shake those cobwebs of the boots, or can rip it up on the field, we always welcome everyone. So come on down on one of our training nights (Tuesday and Thursday 6:30pm), introduce yourselves and make a lifetime of friends.
Our Home ground is Redmond Field, off Bruce St, Brighton-Le-Sands, about a 15 min Walk or 2 min drive from Rockdale Station.

With the preseason has just ended, and the fellas looking good, lets continue our ways, ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP!!! So come on down for a team run. Remember, if your new to Rockdale rugby or just want to start playing its not too late, come on down and have a run with a friendly bunch and we'll fit you in, Somewhere, Somehow!!!
We will continue training on Thursdays (compulsory) at 6:30. As evidenced by the numbers, if you want to have a run on game day, attendance to this training session is non-negotiable. So come on down...

MENS Update,
Another monday morning, and a reflection on the past two weeks of subbies rugby, one against the 15 refs from Clovelly (more about this later), and the other the savers from manly.....
Clovelly......we turn up from our good win against dundas in large numbers at training..with coach Te as per usual barking at us for our lack of discipline around the ruck...i mean when we look at that oval ball (or coc......) what can we do we need to go for it from all angles....…

As the Rain continues on this cold monday ....we look back at the events of the two opening rounds..first out at seaforth (also known as a LONG LONG LONG way away.....after many many many tolls) and the other at home.....

Hi All,
Saturday 10th March 2012 - The day started with the Council closing the entrance to the fields. We (Club) kept our cool and control, with Tammy managing the entrance of what she was told to do by the Council and the Police. Kudos to Tammy for putting up with the abuse from the Resident in question ALL day, and dealing with only letting cars out, but not allowing any in. This has now been negotiated with the Council with a wider understanding.
